My name is Lizbeth Tello, and I am a freelance artist living and working in Berlin. My creative practice combines storytelling, illustration, design, and translation to create books and visual content that inspire and connect with children and families across cultures.
I work as an author and illustrator of children’s picture books, designing every element from character concepts to layout and cover art. My debut book, A Day at the Beach, was published in 2025 and is available internationally on Amazon in both print and Kindle editions. Building on that project, I am now developing a new series of travel-themed picture books that introduce young readers to cities and cultures around the world.
Alongside my books, I also work as a designer of bilingual educational materials and a translator (English/Spanish). My projects range from visual storytelling and illustrations to adapted lesson content and creative educational resources. I am contracted by companies such as Tutored by Teachers to create engaging content that is used in classrooms internationally.
What ties all of my work together is a passion for visual storytelling and for making stories, language, and culture accessible to children in imaginative ways. Whether I am writing, illustrating, designing, or translating, I see each project as part of a larger creative journey that bridges art, language, and education.
